Creating a New Analytics Profile Category Search

You can add to the Company, Product, or Mentions Category Searches at any time to your Cision Communications Cloud.
- Click the person icon in the right hand corner and select Settings from the drop down.
- Select Analytics Profile from the Settings menu.
- Find the Company, Product, or Mention category to which you would like to add.
- Click New Search
- Complete the form used to apply My Coverage news to the category search
- Name- Name of the Company Search category search
- Search Keywords– Terms used to bring articles into the category search. Multiple word or phrases may be combined in the field using Boolean logic terminology such as AND and OR. Quotations should be used for phrases. Click here for Boolean Help.
- Toning Keywords- Keywords that the toning algorithm within the platform should use to determine whether an article is positive, negative or neutral.
- Color– You can select the color used to represent the category search in your Mindshare charts.
- Scoring (Prominence/Impact)– Click this box to track Prominence and Impact for the keywords used in the category search.
While there is no set limit on the amount of Analytics Categories that you create, no more than 20 is recommended. This is because when using these Categories to create a chart, a maximum of 20 will show on any chart. The rest will be grouped into an “Other” category.
