What Social Media Does Cision Monitor?

Modified on: Fri, 27 Jan, 2023 at 12:22 PM

Regarding Social Media, each platform is unique in how we capture data.  Below you will find a detailed list of what we can monitor for each platform.

Twitter: For all public posts that match a specific search, the search can be for keywords, phrases, hashtags, user handles, or any combination of these. We can also collect all posts from a specific user.

Facebook: We collect public posts and comments from specified public Fan Pages. Once the posts have been collected, you’ll receive any posts/comments that match your search terms. We can also search for all posts from a specific fan page. NOTE: The client should specify the page(s) they want to monitor.

YouTube: We can monitor keywords and phrases in the title or description of a YouTube video (no closed captioning of video text). A best practice is to search for specific terms, such as Company Names and Products.

Miscellaneous Blogs/Forums

  • Posts and comments that match your search terms.
  • We don’t monitor Reddit at this time.
