Identifying Opt Outs from Email Distributions

You have two options for easily identifying members of a list that have opted out of receiving future email distributions. You can either use the Influencer Search tab to search for Contacts that have Opted Out or the My List tab to view Opt Out information.
When media contacts Opt Out of future distributions, the Opt-Out is limited to the data group. If the Contact is part of a list in another data group, they will still be able to receive distributions from those other data groups.
Searching for Opt-Outs:
You can search for any Media Contacts that have Opted Out of receiving your emails. To locate any Media Contact that has unsubscribed, use the following steps:
| 1. Click on Influencers and Search |  |
| 2. Use the drop-down menu on the left to select the Opted-Out Contacts option |  |
| 3. Choose the option “Only contacts opted out from emails.” | |
| 4. Click Search |
This will show you everyone in your data group that has chosen to opt-out of receiving your emails
Viewing Opt-Outs Inside of a Saved List:
| 1. Click on My Lists from the Influencers tab on the main system navigation toolbar. | |
| 2. Click on Contact to see all of your saved Contact Lists. | |
| 3. Click on the name of the list that you want to examine for opt-outs | |
| 4. This will take you to all of the contacts in that list | |
| 5. As you click on the name of each contact in the list, their profile will display | |
| 6. If the contact has opted out of future email distributions, you will see an Opt-Out indicator in the profile |
In addition, when viewing the Record for Media Contact who Opted Out of your distribution, you will the Opt-Out indicator in the lower left-hand panel.
