Viewing, Sharing and Reporting on a Custom Set of News Search Results using Analytics Charts Overview

Modified on: Tue, 13 Dec, 2022 at 7:48 PM

You can view various charts describing a specific segment of your news coverage.  Examples of these segments could be news from a time frame, a particular media type, or a single News search. You can create the segment of new through filtering or by searching. Click here to learn more about searching.

1. Once you have found coverage as the result of creating a new search or clicking on a Saved Search, you can refine the coverage using the Filters panel located below the My Coverage Searches panel. Filters will help you zero in on a specific news set by making selections from various filters.

2. Since many Filter options are available, the My Coverage Saved Searches panel above the Filter panel can be resised, enabling you to see more Filters at a time if you prefer.

Next, select the coverage that should be included in the Analysis.

1. To select articles individually, click the checkbox for only the clips you want to include in the analysis. The top left will show how many articles you have selected to analyse. To select all of the articles, click the checkbox above the clips.

2. Select Analysis from the top right corner of the screen

Please note that in most accounts, your results set has a maximum view of 5,000 articles.  If your results set shows 5,000, you look at the 5,000 most recent articles that match your search results.  If you select analyse, it will only show you those 5,000 articles in the charts and graphs you create.  To increase this number, speak with your Account Manager.
