Adding Clips to a Saved Clipbook

Adding clips to an existing clipbook is beneficial if you create newsletters of your mentions over a particular period or reals of your top mentions over time, the most effective messaging pickup, effective quotes by your spokespeople, and more.

Adding to a Saved Clipbook:

To add to the Saved clipbook,

1. Select the coverage to be included in the Clipbook. To select all coverage in a result set, click the top checkbox above the results. To select individual articles, click on each checkbox to the left of the headline. To exclude specific articles, uncheck the checkbox to the left of the headline.
2. Click the Add to Clipbook button on the options toolbar.
3. When the Add Clips to Clipbook options window appears, you can quickly type in the name of the clipbook to find it. NOTE: If your Cision Communications Cloud has data groups, you will see only those clipbooks created in the data group in which you are working.
4. If you see the clipbook you want to add list, select the Saved clipbook from the list.

6. Click the Add button if you only want to add to the clipbook and close it for now.
7. Click the Add and Edit Clipbook if your purpose is to both add to the clipbook and deliver it now via email, PDF, and/or DOC.

Adding and Delivering a Clipbook for Reporting:

If would like to Add clips to a clipbook and then move directly to formatting and generating a clipbook report, you will want to select the Add and Edit Clipbook button (shown in the previous section of this document and below).

When you click this option, you will be presented with the ability to further customise the template that should be used to create the clipbook report, grouping and sorting options for the articles, and delivery method options. 

Adding to an Existing Clipbook:

If your purpose is to add clips to an existing clipbook without moving directly to formatting and generating a clipbook report, you will want to select the Add button. 

Once you select the add button, you will see a confirmation in the upper right-hand corner of your screen indicating that the clips have been added.
