Reporting Overview

The Cision Communications Cloud lets you see the mentions you may be getting due to your PR efforts in various ways. Two primary ways to report Coverage in the Cision Communications Cloud are by curated News Search Results and Account Level Analytics. News Search Results are ideal for reporting on targeted coverage. Account Level Analytics can be used when you quickly report all news coming into your Cision Communications Cloud from all monitoring searches.

Reporting Options for News Search Results:

 

  1. Export  Create an Export (CSV/Excel file) describing the selected coverage. When creating an Export, you can choose which data to describe the coverage. You also have the ordering the data according to your preference.
  2. Share  Send the news items via an email summary to recipients using a template . This option allows you to send recipients a summary of the selected coverage. Within the summary, you have various formatting options to share additional data about each article if you prefer.
  3. Add To Clipbook – Either Add a clip to an existing clipbook summary or Create, customize, and format a clipbook summary of the selected coverage that can be delivered as a PDF, DOC, email, or all three options at once. 
  4. RSS FeedSend selected clips to a connected RSS feed.
  5. Analysis – Create a visual representation of your coverage using a variety of charts that can be incorporated into a file-based report or shared electronically: Creating an Analytics Report from Search Results, Creating an Analytics Report from Saved Search Results, Sharing an Analytics Dashboard via Email, Share an Analytics Dashboard via Web Link/URL


Reporting Options for Account-Level Analytics:

Account Level Analytics includes all coverage coming into your Cision Communications Cloud through all media monitoring searches for a date range. It is important to note that Account Level Analytics includes all duplicates and Twitter re-tweets  (for those monitoring social). There is no way to exclude these from this view.  If you'd like to curate coverage for reporting, you can explore the reporting options in the prior section of this document for news results.

Options for Reporting on Account Level Analytics include:

  1. Download Create a visual representation of your coverage using a variety of charts that can be incorporated into a file-based report: Creating an Analytics Report from Search Results,  
  2. Share – Create a visual representation of your coverage using a variety of charts that can be incorporated into an email or password-protected URL: Share an Analytics Dashboard via Email, Share an Analytics Dashboard via Web Link/URL.
