Additional Charts Available:

You can Edit the Default Dashboard (1) or Create New Dashboards (2) to incorporate the following charts.

  • Custom Fields-If you are using Custom Fields, this chart will show you the volume of clips with Custom Fields applied by date.
  • Company Sentiment Score-Visualize the net sentiment of your organization’s news coverage versus your competitors by sentiment score, which is calculated by subtracting the number of negative clips from the number of positive clips. The percentage calculation available in the settings for this chart allows you to normalize the scoring metric which is beneficial when making comparisons among companies getting different volumes of coverage.  The criteria of this chart can be changed so that the calculation is made with Reach or UVPM instead of based on total mentions.
  • DMA- Distribution of clips for different designated market areas (DMA). This chart's default option is to show clips' distributions for designated market areas (DMA) over time as a line graph.  However, this chart also has the option to show clip distribution per DMA as a bubble map, table, stacked area, stacked bar, or donut chart. Click here to learn more about the special features of this chart and others.
  • Note- Allows you to create a note describing your Custom Analytics Dashboard View. A variety of text options are available in this note such as bold, italics, strikethrough, underline, and numbering. You can also include a picture in the note. Click here to learn more about the special features of this chart and others.

  • Social Amplification– View social metrics (likes, comments, shares) for online articles that have been shared socially. This chart can display metrics for Pinterest, Facebook, and Twtter.  NOTE: In order for this chart to show Twitter Likes and Shares, the Cision Communications Cloud monitoring must have brought in both the Tweet (in which the online article was shared) and the online article. For the case of Facebook and Pinterest, the social post does not need to come in through monitoring (only the online article itself) in order to show this data.  (The Social Statistics Add-On is needed for these charts to populate.)
  • Social Engagement– See engagement of your social coverage by channel.  Engagement actions include Likes, Comments, and Shares based on the social channel selected. (The Social Statistics Add-On is needed for these charts to populate.)
  • Social Location- Shows location of authors that have posted about you. If a post’s author does not have a location defined, the system will use post location. Currently, this map can only be displayed as a world or European Map.
  • Social Mentions– Shows your social media mentions by channel
  • Tags-The volume of tags that have been applied to your news articles for the selected date range.
  • Top Articles- See your top articles by Reach, Prominence, or Impact. (Prominence and Impact are additional calculations that are not part of every package.) Click here to learn more about the special features of this chart and others.
