Copying and Editing Newsletters for Reuse

Once you Create a Newsletter,  you can easily copy it to reuse its customisations as a template, including refreshing the Published by or Tagged dates!

To Copy a Newsletter:

Use Case: You want to use the same template for a new newsletter.

  1. Locate the Newsletter you wish to copy. NOTE: The most recently created newsletter will be at the top.
  2. Click the Actions button in the right hand of the Newsletter's row. 
  3. Select the Copy Newsletter option.
  4. A new row will be added with the same title of the Newsletter copied with the label (copy) next to it.

To Refresh All Sections with a new Published By or Tagged Date:

Use Case: You want to use the same newsletter template but include the most recently tagged clips or Published by date.

1. Locate the copied Newsletter you want to Refresh.

2. Click on the Actions button on the Newsletter's row. 

3. Select the Edit Newsletter option to open the copied newsletter.

4. Edit the Subject (name) of the Newsletter (Optional).

5. Click on the Filter by dropdown on the left of the screen to select a new Published by or Tagged date.

6. Click the Refresh All Article Sections button to refresh the entire newsletter!

7. Click the Save button.

To Refresh Specific Sections of a Newsletter:

Use Case: New articles were tagged after the newsletter draft was created.

1. Locate the Newsletter you want to edit.

2. Click on the Actions button on the Newsletter's row. 

3. Select the Edit Newsletter option to open the newsletter.

4. Edit the Subject (name) of the Newsletter (Optional).

5. Click the Refresh button at the top of the section you wish to refresh.

6. Click the Save button.
