Viewing and Changing Analytic Profiles

Modified on: Tue, 28 Feb, 2023 at 11:03 AM

Your Analytics Profile will enable you to add and view the Company, Product, and Mention categories that can automatically apply to coverage (like auto-tagging). These categories can then be used to find and filter your My Coverage news. Applying categories to your news coverage can also be considered auto tagging your coverage.  In addition, these categories are used to generate your Company Analytics Mindshare charts. Company categories are available to all Cision Communication Cloud accounts. Product and Mention categories can be added to your platform.

To access your Analytics Profile, you must have System Administrator privileges. If you have System Administrator privileges, you will see a Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the blue navigation menu.

  1. Click on the person icon in the upper right-hand side of the screen and select Settings from the drop-downGraphical user interface, application

While there is no set limit on the number of Analytics Categories you create, no more than 20 is recommended.  This is because when using these Categories to create a chart, a maximum of 20 will show on any chart. The rest will be grouped into an “Other” category.
