Impact Reports

There are three types of Impact Reports:
Clip impact
Topic impact
Topic impact over time
Impact Reports present a table showing a complete listing of the clips in the current filter together with an impact score beside each one. Clips are listed in descending order of impact. At the end of the report a total impact score is provided.
Impact scores produce a single figure to capture not just the favourability of the clip but also its reach (i.e. the number of people potentially exposed to it) and its prominence (a story appearing on page 1 is more likely to be noticed than one appearing on the inside pages).
The Impact report is particularly useful when comparing PR campaigns that use the same scoring methodology or the same PR campaign across different months.
