Saving, Editing and Deleting Media Contact Searches

Modified on: Tue, 6 Dec, 2022 at 3:38 PM

Saved Searches allow you to save any of the criteria you regularly use to build a list so that you can quickly access it again in the future.  This is particularly helpful for searches that you have entered several different criteria and are going to be running over again.  Saved Searches are available for both the Talking About Search and traditional searching.

Saving a Traditional Search:

1.  Click on Influencers
2. Click on Search
3.  Enter in any criteria that you wish to run
4. Click Search
5. Click on the Save Search button on the top right of the page
6. Enter a name for the saved search. This can be no longer than 250 characters.
7. Click Save

Remember, this is not saving the contacts that come back in your results set; this is saving the criteria you used to build the list.  To learn more about saving contacts to a list, click here.

All saved searches will be available account-wide.  This means if you have different Data Groups set up in your platform, you will see Saved Searches across all Data Groups.

Locating Saved Searches:

All Saved Searches are located on the Influencers Search page.

1. Click Influencers
2. Click Search

You will see a combination of Talking About Searches and Traditional Searches at the bottom of the screen.

All saved searches will be available account-wide.  This means if you have different data groups set up in your platform, you will see Saved Searches across all data groups. When selecting a saved or recent search in a different data group, all the data group-specific criteria (lists & campaigns) will not load. All other search criteria will load as expected. If you select a search with data group-specific criteria, you will get a pop-up saying, “Some of the criteria you selected are not available in your current data group.”

To use any of your previously saved searches, click on the linked text, which will populate all the criteria you used to create the search at the top.  This allows you to make any modifications you would like before you run it.

Editing the Name of a Saved Search:
